David Paul Pollan has been practicing exclusively in the areas of elder and disability law since 1990. He understands first-hand what it is like to care for an aging loved one and is passionate about helping families plan for their future.
David grew up in Huntington, New York in a large family. He attended Boston University, where he received a B.S. in Communication Studies, and then attended Emory University School of Law.
David began his legal career with Atlanta Legal Aid Society’s Senior Citizens Law Project, working to protect the rights of Georgia’s most vulnerable seniors. He went on to advocate for Georgia’s seniors through the legislature in his roles at the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) and the Senior Citizens Advocacy Project.
In 1996, David opened his own practice: Pollan Elder & Disability Law. He has helped thousands of families meet their needs and plan for their future. He is an active member of the Atlanta community, and has served on the board of Weinstein Hospice, Thanks Mom & Dad Foundation, Georgia Community Trust, the Georgia Bar Association’s Elder Law Committee, and the Atlanta Regional Committee Aging Services Board.
